ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியத்தின் உப்புச் சப்பில்லாத் தீர்மானம்.

ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியப் பாராளமன்றம் இலங்கை தொடர்பாக பின்வரும் ஒரு உப்புச் சப்பில்லாத் தீர்மானத்தை இன்று நிறைவேற்றியுள்ளது:

MEPs deplore the fact that over 250,000 Tamil civilians are still held in camps, contrary to undertakings given by the Colombo government. The resolution asks that their return be organised and that humanitarian organisations be given free access to the camps in order to provide the necessary humanitarian assistance. Tamil leaders must commit themselves to a political settlement and renounce terrorism and violence once and for all. The government must respect human rights in the conduct of trials of LTTE members, says the resolution.The Sri Lankan government must cease its repression of the media in the name of its anti-terrorist legislation, which must be overhauled, and press freedom must be recognised, stress MEPs. The Sri Lankan government must also put more effort into clearing minefields, which are serious obstacle to reconstruction and economic recovery in this south-east Asian country. Members call on the government to take measures to comply with the Ottawa Treaty (Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction).

• ஐரோப்பியப் பாராளமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் இலங்கை வாக்குறிதி அளித்தபடி முகாம்களில் உள்ள 250,000இற்குமேற்பட்டவர்களை விடுவிக்காததை இட்டுக் கவலை அடைகிறார்களாம். (ஏன் கண்டனம் தெரிவிக்கவில்லை?)
  
• தீர்மானம் உடனடியாகவோ அல்லது விரைவாகவோ முகாமில் உள்ளவர்களை விடுவிக்கும் படி கோரவில்லை. விடுவிப்பதற்கு ஒழுங்கு செய்யும்படி (மட்டும்) கோருகிறது. (நீங்கள் கேட்காத படியால்தான் இதுவரை காலமும் விடுவிக்கவில்லை. இனி விடுவிப்பார்கள்!)
  
• தொண்டு நிறுவனங்களுக்கு முகாம்களிற்கு சுதந்திரமாக சென்று சேவை செய்ய இலங்கை அரசு அனுமதிக்க வேண்டுமாம். ( எத்தனை நாளாக எத்தனை பேர் இதைச் சொல்கிறார்கள்?).
• தமிழ்த் தலைவர்கள் அரசியல் தீர்வுக்குத் தம்மை ஈடுபடுத்த வேண்டுமாம். (எந்தத் தமிழ்த் தலைவன் என்று சொன்னான் தான் அரசியல் தீர்வுக்குத் தயாரரில்லை என்று? என்று தீர்வு முன் வைக்கப் பட்டது? வைக்கப்பட்ட தீர்வுகள் நிறைவேற்றப் பட்டதா? -Unlucky 13th Amendment to the constitution)
• தமிழ்த் தலைவர்கள் பயங்கரவாதத்தைக் கைவிட வேண்டுமாம். (பயங்கரமாக இரு நாட்ளில் 60,000 பேர்களைக் கொன்றும் உயிருடனும் புதைக்கலாமா? அது பயங்கரவாதம் இல்லையா?)
  
• இலங்கை அரசு பயங்கரவாதத்திற்கு எதிரான சட்டங்களை நீக்க வேண்டுமாம். ஊடகங்களைச் சுதந்திரமாக செயற்பட அனுமதிக்க வேண்டுமாம். இலங்கை அரசு நிலக்கண்ணிகளை அகற்ற வேண்டுமாம். (புலிகள் புதைத்த கண்ணிவெடிகளுக்கான வரைபடம் உண்டு. கண்டபடி கன்னா பின்னாவென்று கண்ணிவெடிகளைப் புதைத்தது யார்? )
• இலங்கை அரசை ஒட்டாவா உடன்படிக்கையை மதித்து நடக்கும்படி தாங்கள் கேட்டுக் கொள்கின்றனராம். (நீங்கள் கேட்டதால் உடனடியாக ராஜபக்சே அரசு நீங்கள் கேட்டபடி எல்லா வற்றையும் செய்யப்போகிறது.)

நல்லகாலம் இந்தியாவைப் போல் கோடி கீடியாகப் பணம் தருகிறோம் விடுவியுங்கள் என்று கூறவில்லை!!!
