தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து ஒரு பாராளமன்ற உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்ட குழு ஒன்று இலங்கை சென்று இடைத் தங்கல் முகாம் எனப் படும் வதை முகாம்களைப் பார்வையிடவிருப்பதாக அறிந்து யாரும் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைய வில்லை. இப்படிப் பலர் செல்கிறார்கள் ஆனால் எதுவும் நடக்கவில்லை.
வன்னி முகாம்களைப் பற்றி மோசமான தகவல்கள் வெளிவந்த போது தமிழ்நாட்டிலிருந்து ஒரு பார்ப்பன நாய் முகாமிற்கு சென்றுவிட்டு அங்கு முகாம்கள் சிறப்பாக நடப்பதாக மாபெரும் பொய்யை கூறியதை யாரும் மறக்கவில்லை.
இப்போது மீண்டும் வன்னி முகாம்களைப் பற்றி மோசமான தகவல்கள் வெளிவருகின்றன. அண்மையில் வந்த செய்தி:
| குடிப்பதற்கு அல்லது குளிப்பதற்கு நீர் இல்லை. நாங்கள் இங்கு இறக்கப் போகிறோம். மெனிக் பார்ம் முகாம் எங்கிலும் எங்களை விடுவியுங்கள் என்ற பரிதாபக்குரலே முகாமகள் எங்கும் கேட்கிறது என, பிரிட்டனின் சர்வதேச அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சர் மைக் டொஸ்டருடன் அங்கு விஜயம் மேற்கொண்ட பி.பி.ஸி.செய்தியாளர் சார்ள்ஸ் ஹவிலான்ட் தெரிவித்துள்ளார். |
| அரசு இந்தப் பிரச்சினைகளைத் தீவிரமாக எடுக்கவில்லை என்றும் அவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டனர் எனத் தெரிவித்துள்ள பி.பி.ஸி செய்தியாளர் இது குறித்து மேலும் தெரிவித்து: முகாமின் உட்கட்டமைப்பு குறித்து நெருக்கமாக அவதானிப்பதற்கு பி.பி.ஸிக்கு கிடைத்த முதல் வாய்ப்பு இதுவாகும். மெனிக் பார்மில் உள்ள வலயங்களில், வலயம் 2 அதிகளவு சன நெரிசல் கொண்டது. இங்கு தொடர் கால்வாய்கள் அமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. எதிர்வரும் பருவப் பெயர்ச்சி மழை காலத்தில் வெள்ளத்தைத் தடுப்பதற்கு இது உதவும் என அரசு தெரிவிக்கின்றது. உள் வீதிகளில் சிறிய கடைகளைக் காண முடிகின்றது. முகாமில் உள்ளவர்கள் சிறிதளவு பணம் சம்பாதிப்பதற்கு கிடைத்த சிறிய வாய்ப்பே இந்தக் கடைகள். நிலக்கண்ணி வெடிகள் உள்ள பகுதிகளுக்கு மக்கள் செல்லமுடியாது என அதிகாரிகள் தெரிவிக்கின்றனர். எனினும் முகாமில் உள்ளவர்களுடன் நாம் உரையாடிய ஐந்து நிமிடங்கள் மிகவும் வேதனையளிப்பனவாக அமைந்தன.

- முகாம்களில் உள்ளவர்களை உங்களால் தனிப் பட்ட ரீதியில் சந்தித்து அவர்கள் குறைகளை கேட்டறிய முடியுமா?
- இறுதிப் போர் நடந்த பகுதிகளில் மனிதப் புதை குழிகள் உள்ள இடங்களுக்கு உங்களால் சென்று உண்மை அறிய முடியுமா?
- நீங்கள் சென்று வந்தபின் நீங்கள் செய்யும் பரிந்துரைகளை உங்கள் மைய அரசு ஏற்று நிறைவேற்றுமா?
- இது வரை ஈழத் தமிழர்கள் தொடர்பாக எத்தனை கோரிக்கைகளை உங்கள் மைய அரசு நிறைவேற்றியிருக்கிறது?
இலங்கை சென்று அவர்கள் தரும் விருந்துகளை(?) சுவைத்து மகிழும் படி உங்களை வாழ்த்தி அனுப்புகிறேன்.

Sir, I am a Tamilian from Tamilnadu. You must be extremely diligent to understand Indian politics. There is no state autonomy in India. Tamilnadu has 40 seats. Therefore, we are forced to have tie up with other parties for parliament elections. Other than Congress, we have BJP who are Hindu fanatics and the Left who are not stable. The parliamentary elections were over this May. Now, there are a couple of more years for state election. The DMK and Congress alliance exists from 2004. The Congress is likely to withdraw alliance with the state government. If this happens, ADMK, the opposition party would come to power or there would be Presidents Rule. In both cases we cannot even open our mouth to show our concern about those in Srilanka. Vaiko was imprisoned during the ADMK rule for supporting the tigers. Now, he has joined the ADMK alliance. Look at the contradiction. Even if Congress withdraws support from DMK, we can pressurize the Centre if Vaiko and others would have joined hands with DMK. Instead, they give emotional speeches and try to project themselves as himself as hero’s. They are with the wrong alliance and are raising voice. This would not do any good but complicates the issue. Look at the processions they carry out so boldly. Had any other government been in rule, all those who raise voice would be imprisoned. Tactical approach is required than emotions. I feel thankful that the state government finally got this opportunity. Major drawback of we Tamilians is failing to identify the right person. We can never be defeated by our enemies but are always betrayed by traitors within us.

இதை பார்க்கும் போது அவர்கள் அங்கே போய் என்ன சொல்லப் போகின்றார்கள் என்று உண்மையை சொல்லிவிடுவார்கள் என்று பலர் பலர் பயந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

I sort of get your point,however I don't think there is going to be much change in the attitude of the Srilankan government,Srilankan govt has become so good in manipulating other countries, the Indian politicians will end up with egg on their faces.
Anyway ,guided tour will be stage-managed and the MPs won't be able to get the real picture .
Srilankan govt has denied entry to local opposition MPS and Tamil MPS to see these people, you wonder whether this is all a whitewash .
The sad thing is at the end of all this, the 300,000 Tamils will still be imprisoned in the camps like criminals even though they haven't done anything wrong .
I agree there is no use in just using emotional language.what we need is unity,diplomacy and actions,not just words.
Is there any honest brave Tamil leader with the long term vision among us?
