சர்வ தேச நியமங்களின்படி ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் ஊழியர்களுக்கு இராச தந்திரிகளுக்கு உள்ள functional immunity உண்டு. இதன்படி இவர்கள் மீது ஒரு அரசு சட்ட நடவடிக்கை எடுக்க முடியாது. ஆனால் இலங்கையில் நாடுகளின் ஊழியர்கள் அரச இடைத்தங்கல் முகாம் எனப்படும் வதை கூடங்களில் அவர்களின் விருப்பத்திற்கு மாறாகவும் சர்வதேச நியமங்களுக்கு எதிராகவும் தடுத்து வைக்கப் பட்டுள்ளதை ஐநா ஒத்துக் கொண்டுள்ளது. இதுபற்றி ஐநாவின் பேச்சாளர் Farhan Haq இடம் Inner City Press வினவியபோது அவர் கூறிய பதில் அவர்களுக்கு நடமாடும் சுதந்திரம் வழங்கப்படும் என்று (இலங்கை) அரசு தெரிவைத்துள்ளதாகப் பதிலளித்துள்ளார். இத்தடுத்து வைப்பு பன்னாட்டு விதிகளுக்கு முரண்பட்டதல்லவா என்று கேட்டபோது அவர் பதிலேதும் கூறவில்லை என்பதோடு ஏன் இதுபற்றி ஐநா ஏன் தகவல் ஏதும் வெளியிடவில்லை என்பதற்கும் விளக்கமளிக்கவில்லை.
பாக்கிஸ்த்தனில் ஐநா ஊழியர்கள் தடுத்து வைக்கப் பட்டிருந்தபோது ஐநா உரக்கக் குரல் கொடுத்ததும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
ஐநா ஊழியர்களை இலங்கை அரசு அடையாளம் கண்டு கொள்ளவில்லை என்றும் அடையாளம் தெரிந்திருந்தால் அவர்கள் கொல்லப் பட்டிருக்கலாம் என்றும் சந்தேகிக்கப் படுகிறது. அடையாளம் காணாமல் அவர்கள் இடைத் தங்கல் முகாமில் இலங்கை அரசு வைத்திருக்கிறது. ஐநாவும் அவர்கள் பற்றிய உயிரச்சம் காரணமாகவே தகவல்களை மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கிறது என்றும் நம்பப்படுகிறது. இவர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் தமிழர்களாகவே இருக்கலாம்.

அந்த தமிழர்கள், ஐ நா ஊழியர்கள் என்று தெரிந்திருந்தால் அவர்கள் பரப்புரைகளுக்கு அஞ்சி முன்னமே கொல்லப் பட்டிருக்கலாம். மற்றவர்களோடு இவர்களும் தங்கி இருந்ததால், சமரின் இடையில் யாரென அறியப்படாமல் கொல்லப் பட்டார்கள் என்றும் சொல்லி விடலாம். அதனால்தான் ஐ நா சொல்லாமல் இருந்திருக்கும். இனி மேலாவது கடுமையான நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுப்பார்களா?
Apparently, UN officers take calculated risks by gauging existing support to any issue by veto-wielding big-5. All these five powers directly support Tamil genocide for only ONE reason, that is India. US,UK,France & Russia support SL to keep India happy, whereas China supports SL to gain a foothold. For India, one SL is better than two, since one of the two srilankas will be necessarily against India. So indian officials are hoping to end the war soon after which they are hoping to compete and out-game Chinese in SL by taking over SL economically, which will render SL a client state to India. Revenge for Rajiv's death and keeping TN Tamils' Nationalism under warps are bonuses to this policy. 60 years old genocide and subjugation of SL Tamils are just incidental and will continue. If in case, Tamil resistance is doused for now, then only realistic way for freedom to SL Tamils is to fight back in future through diaspora who should have by then worked hard and helped each other to reach powerful positions of Western world (similar to Jews). This would need a great deal of organization.
Nevertheless, TN Tamils are the biggest culprits in this whole game played in their name by Indian government, since they are in abyss of inaction. Hopefully we can see more poltically acitve Tamil Nadu - A TN Tamil
