விஞ்ஞானிகள்: இறப்பு என்று ஒன்றில்லை.

"உறங்குவது போலும் சாக்காடு உறங்கி  விழிப்பது போலும் பிறப்பு" என்பது வள்ளுவன் வாய் மொழி. இதில் வள்ளுவன் இறப்பு என்று ஒன்றில்லை. உயிரின் ஒரு தொடர்ச்சி நிலையிலேயே இருக்கும் என்று பொருள்படச் சொல்கிறான். அதை விஞ்ஞானிகள் உண்மை என்று சொல்கின்றனர். இறப்பு என்று ஒன்று இல்லை என்கின்றனர். 

Biocentrism என்னும் புதிய  கோட்பாடு நான் யார் என்ற கேள்விக்குக் கூறும் விடை: You are just a 20-watt fountain of energy operating in the brain. நீ என்பது உனது மூளைக்குள் இருக்கும் 20 வாட்(watt) ஆற்றல்(சக்தி). இந்த ஆற்றல் தான் உயிர் ஆகும். விஞ்ஞானக் கோட்பாட்டின் படி ஆற்றலை(சக்தியை) ஆக்கவோ அழிக்கவோ முடியாது. எனவே எமது மூளைக்குள் இருக்கும் இந்த 20 வாட் ஆற்றலான எமது உயிரையும் ஆக்கவோ அழிக்கவோ முடியாது. மேலும்  விஞ்ஞானம் ஆற்றலை ஒரு வடிவத்தில் இருந்து இன்னொரு வடிவமாக மாற்றலாம் என்கிறது.

விஞ்ஞானத் தத்துவங்களின் படி சில அவதானிப்புக்களை முழுமையாக எதிர்வு கூற முடியாது ஆனால் பல அவதானிப்புக்களின் எதிர்வு கூறல்கள் பதரப்பட்டதாக வேறு வேறு சாத்தியப்பாடுகளுடன் இருக்கும். உயிர் நிலையானது என்பதற்கான விளக்கத்திற்கு எண்ணிலா பிரபஞ்சங்கள் இருக்கின்றன (‘multiverse’). அதனால் இடமும் காலமும் (space and time)  முடிவற்றவை. காலம் முடிவற்றது என்று இருக்கும் போது உயிரும் முடிய்வற்றதே. உயிர் ஒரு பிரபஞ்சத்தில் இருந்து இன்னொரு பிரபஞ்சத்திற்குப் போகும்.

Biocentrism கோட்பாட்டின் படி இடமும் காலமும் (space and time) கடினமான பொருட்களல்ல.

According to Biocentrism, space and time are not the hard objects we think. Wave your hand through the air - if you take everything away, what's left? Nothing. The same thing applies for time. You can't see anything through the bone that surrounds your brain. Everything you see and experience right now is a whirl of information occurring in your mind. Space and time are simply the tools for putting everything together.

இறப்பு என்று ஒன்று இல்லை என ஐன்ஸ்டைன் தனது நண்பரின் இறப்பின் போது இப்படிக் குறிப்பிட்டார்:
Death does not exist in a timeless, spaceless world. In the end, even Einstein admitted, "Now Besso" (an old friend) "has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That means nothing. People like us...know that the distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion." Immortality doesn't mean a perpetual existence in time without end, but rather resides outside of time altogether.  இறப்பு என்பது காலத்திற்கும் இடத்திற்கும் வெளியே செல்வது என்று கொள்ளலாம்.
